Cars 2 IMAX and 3D - review

If you liked Cars 1, you'll LOVE Cars 2!!!

The movie starts off with action, intrigue and laughter and is non-stop until the very end.

Finn McMissile (your James Bond of the car world) sets the mood on the seven seas with all kind of fancy gear which you would find in any of the original James Bond's films. Meanwhile, Lightning McQueen is gearing up for a world grand prix race with Italian car Francesco Bernoulli. His best friend, Mater the hillbilly tow truck - renowned for boasting his rust and dents - makes a huge appearance in this flick and actually scores several dates with sexy Holly Shiftwell.

The animation is exceptional and lifelike that I felt as if I had taken a trip to Japan.

Don't miss the chance of seeing it in theatres at IMAX and in 3D. It's totally worth it. It's entertainment for the entire family!

The Art Of Getting By - Review

This movie originally premiered as "Homework" at the 2011 Sundance Festival. I'm not sure why the title changed but "The Art Of Getting By" definitely suits the screenplay more... This story is about a young budding artist (George played by Freddie Highmore) and his struggle through the last year of high school. Sally (Emma Roberts) comes to George's "rescue" by way of a heartwarming friendship.

"The Art Of Getting By" has a very genuine feel to it and I really liked the way the reality of the trials and tribulations of each character shone through. The cast is wide and varied and I was nicely surprised with a cameo appearance of Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) in a very uncharacteristic role.

Overall, not a huge block buster but I did enjoy the movie.
